For this year's Inktober, I'll be keeping an illustrated journal of the waste I generate in my daily life. It also serves as a research project for me before I conduct an illustration workshop about waste generation and management at the local wet market in November.
I started one week early! This is the junk I produced in seven days - of which only a fraction was recycled. It's a little mortifying, but I now know where to cut down.
Each week, I'll update the project page with the compiled drawings.
If you haven't got an Inktober topic yet, why not try recording your personal waste? It's guaranteed to be insightful and you may end up changing your lifestyle or attitude towards waste. Tag #wasteitdrawit if you post on social media - I'd love to see what you come up with.
